An Affordable Education

Scholarships and grants are forms of financial aid that do not have to be repaid. McMurry offers a number of merit based and need-based scholarships and grants to new incoming students. Use this guide to learn more about how you can fund your education and how McMurry is investing in our students. Last year 99% of McMurry students qualified for financial aid. We want McMurry to be a financial fit for you and there are many opportunities for your to fund your education.

The scholarships listed below require full-time enrollment unless noted. The annual amount is based on Fall and Spring enrollment and is awarded by semester. Transfer students with less than 24 transferable hours are subject to review of high school transcripts. Military awards cannot be stacked with Freshman or Transfer scholarship/awards. McMurry scholarships, awards, and financial aid are awarded based on availability of funds. Amounts are subject to change.

Financial Aid awards are created after the student is admitted and has submitted a complete FAFSA (or notified their Admission Counselor that they choose not to complete a FAFSA).  Award notifications are processed as students are admitted on a rolling basis beginning in November through the beginning of the semester in which they intend to enroll, with priority given to students who complete the applications prior to January 15.

Additional Award Information

McMurry University offers additional scholarships to students outside of the programs listed above. While we do our best to offer the most generous financial aid package from a student’s initial admission and FAFSA submission, students can qualify and apply for the scholarships below.

McMurry STEM Scholars Program
